| i have the xp and have never/still don't seen my ipod as one of the icons in "my computer," have i done something wrong? oh, and do i need to download any software? |

| interesting; are you running iTunes/etc. at the time? Exiting that application might make the difference. As a general question, are you able to synchronize the iPod with iTunes or the software of your choice? If so, is this the machine you use to sync your iPod? |

| Same with me I have Windows and My Ipod is not coming up in the "Computer" folder |
