Runometer.com Terms of Service

Agreement

• You are responsible for any and all activity that occurs under your login.
• You are responsible for the security of your password.
• You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate other Runometer.com users.
• You may not use Runometer.com for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You are solely responsible for your conduct and any runs, routes, comments, or other information you display or create within the site.
• You may not use data from Runometer for commercial purposes. Data displayed through Runometer.com is intended solely for personal use except where explicitly licensed.
• You may not create or transmit unwanted electronic mail ("UCE" or "Spam") to any Runometer.com member.
• You may not use Runometer.com to transmit or store worms, viruses, trojans, or other malicious Software.
• You must not, in the course of using Runometer.com, violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Violation of any of these terms will result in the termination of your account.

In addition:

• We reserve the right to modify or terminate this service for any reason, without notice at any time.
• We reserve the right to alter this agreement at any time, but will supply notice on the front page of Runometer.com in that event.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
• We may, but have no obligation to, remove runs, routes, comments and accounts containing content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or this agreement.

Privacy

• We respect your privacy. While we do not require a valid e-mail or a real name, these become keys for finding users and sharing data. Please be sure not to publish more information about yourself than you want associated with you.
• With each route and run upload or creation, you will be offered the option to publish or not publish the information. Remember, a route constitutes a designation of place and a run provides accurate time information - if you do not wish to share where you've been at a certain time, please be sure not to publish the applicable runs/routes.
• We reserve the right to use the data in the system for marketing, demonstration, and other lawful purposes, but will not share this data with other parties unless one or more of the following conditions have been met:
1. the content has been designated publicly accessible by the posting user
2. the content has been anonymized by removing user identification and time stamp information more precise than 1 day (this excludes run duration).
• Once you've published content and subsequently requested "de-publication", we cannot guarantee that all copies of that information will be removed from sites and systems not affiliated with this site, but will respect your wishes from that point forward on Runometer.com.
